Ride & Provide
Ride & Provide
Beginning in 2003 the SOGS have gone on an annual road trip to help out one of the other church communities in Colorado. The SOGS have gone to five different churches and a district camp to do major and minor building and maintenance projects. Exterior projects have included landscaping, sprinkler systems, concrete, stucco, painting, replacing windows and re-roofing. We have built carports, handicap access ramps, stairs, fences and retaining walls. Interior projects have covered everything from framing, sheetrock, paint and flooring to HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
Destinations have included Holly ('03 & '07), Paonia (2004), Lamar (2005), Divide (2006), Florence (2008) and Denver (2009), Colorado.

Ride and Provide is an extremely rewarding experience. It's a great volunteer opportunity and fun way to provide community service.
